COVID-19: Mexico reports the highest number of infections in 15 days

In the last 24 hours there were 41 deaths, for a total of 325,458 since the start of the pandemic in the country.

Although casualties have not undergone large fluctuations, the case of infections is different, since in recent weeks an increase in positive cases has been identified, mainly in the group of 18 to 29 years, followed by those of 30 to 39 years. and the 40 to 49 year old.

The SSa points out that, as of today’s information cutoff, 66,113 active cases have been registered, that is, they presented symptoms in the last 14 days.

The distribution by sex in confirmed cases shows a predominance in women of 52.2%, while deaths are more common among men, with an incidence of 62%.

The health agency indicates that the entities with the most confirmed cases accumulated in the Republic are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, San Luis Potosí, Tabasco, Veracruz, Puebla and Sonora, which together make up the 64% of all accumulated cases registered in the country.
