COVID-19: Mexico reports its lowest number of deaths in nine days

As far as cases are concerned, 4,235 were confirmed in one day, for a total of 6,093,835.

In the last five weeks, most of the cases are present in the groups of 18 to 29 years, followed by the group of 30 to 39 years and 40 to 49 years.

The distribution by sex in the confirmed cases shows a predominance in women of 52.4%; while deaths are more frequent among the male population, who represent 62% of these.

On the other hand, the SSa pointed out that the entities with the most accumulated confirmed cases are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, San Luis Potosí, Tabasco, Veracruz, Puebla and Sonora, which together make up 64 % of all cumulative cases registered in the country.
