COVID-19: Mexico reports 1,191 cases and 49 deaths in 24 hours

The last time that Mexico had a low record was on March 7, with 42 deaths from the disease and 1,684 infections.

With these figures, a decrease can be presumed that will give way to the end of the fourth wave of infections, which began between December 2021 and January 2022.

According to the report of the Ministry of Health, there are an estimated 20,750 active cases in the country, which represents 0.4% of the total epidemic. In addition, it is estimated that around 4 million 897,155 have managed to recover from the disease.

Regarding hospitalizations, there is a decrease of 95% with respect to the maximum peak, registered in January 2021. Today, the occupancy of general beds is 9%, and of beds with a ventilator, 7%.
