“Today in Mexico the first person with #COVID19 died. His symptoms began on March 9 and he suffered from diabetes. The Secretary of Health expresses his condolences to his relatives,” the federal agency said through Twitter.
According to the data collected by the federal agency, in the last five weeks, most of the cases are present in the groups of 18 to 29 years, followed by the group of 30 to 39 years and 40 to 49 years.
The 10 entities with the most cases of COVID-19 are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, San Luis Potosí, Puebla, Veracruz and Sonora, which in total accumulate (64%) of all accumulated cases registered in the country.
Health authorities warn that there are 156,916 estimated active cases, that is, that they have presented symptoms during the last 14 days.
