The government of Nicolás Maduro reported that in the last 24 hours there were 28 confirmed cases of community transmission of covid-19 in Venezuela.
According to the vice president Delcy RodriguezZulia is the state with the most cases of coronavirus, with 13 infections in 4 of 21 municipalities: 10 in Maracaibo, 1 in Rosario de Perijá, 1 in Cabimas and 1 in Lagunillas.
Likewise, Bolívar is the second state with the most cases with five. They are followed by Anzoátegui (3), Monagas (2), Sucre (2), Miranda (2) and Falcón (1). Of the 28 cases, 15 are men and 13 are women, and among them there are 2 children and adolescents, he reported through his official Twitter account.
At 797 days, Rodríguez explained that the total number of infections is: 523,266. Recovered patients: 516,468 (99%) and the cases current assets: 1,082 and the total number of deceased is 5,716.

Situation in hospitals in Venezuela
On the other hand, the infectologist, Julio Castro, explained that the service in hospitals continues to present deficiencies in the midst of the pandemic.
He said on his Twitter account that “the number of emergency operating beds (national average) has fluctuated, probably associated with covid-19. Precarious conditions persist in hospitals and the humanitarian emergency is still there.
He also highlighted that the weekly cases by region of covid-19 in South America are on the rise.
