Covid-19 in Mexico: SSa reports 815 new confirmed cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health reported this Sunday 815 new infections of Covid-19so the accumulated number of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic in Mexico amounted to 7 million 59,348.

The Daily Technical Report on the progress of the coronavirus at the national level detailed that at the cutoff of this September 11, the official death toll increased to 329,761, after three new deaths were reported due to this disease in the last 24 hours.

It should be remembered that the federal health authorities have explained that during the weekends the daily figures of infections and deaths due to the Covid-19 They are usually lower compared to the rest of the week because health centers usually take longer to deliver this information.

From August 29 to September 11, the federal agency registered 15,614 active cases, that is, people who tested positive for Covid-19 and presented symptoms in the last 14 days.

The states that have shown the highest rate of active cases per 100,000 inhabitants are:

  • San Luis Potosi
  • Sinaloa
  • Lower California

  • Queretaro
  • Zacatecas

In the statement, the Ministry of Health highlighted that the distribution by sex in confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the country shows a predominance in women (53.2%); while the median age in general among infected people is 38 years.
