The vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, published in Twitter the statistics corresponding to the behavior of covid-19 in Venezuela during the day of Sunday, November 13, 2022, in which 51 new infections were recorded, of which 30 are “imported”.
The cases that arrived in the country from abroad, and that were addressed by the health personnel stationed at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, did so from Panama (21), Spain (7) and the Dominican Republic (2).
Meanwhile, the 21 new “community” infections were reported in seven of the 24 federal entities in the country; list headed by Miranda when reporting nine in three of its 21 municipalities: Urdaneta (5), Lander (2) and Sucre (2).
Miranda was seconded by Vargas (3), Capital District (3), Carabobo (3), Aragua (1), Yaracuy (1) and Monagas (1).
On the other hand, Zulia, Táchira, Mérida, Trujillo, Falcón, Lara, Portuguesa, Cojedes, Apure, Barinas, Amazonas, Guárico, Anzoátegui, Bolívar, Delta Amacuro, Sucre and Nueva Esparta did not report new covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours.

The official statistics that Rodríguez published on his social networks on the day of November 13, 2022 slightly increased the total number of covid-19 cases that Venezuela reports daily. In this sense, 973 days after the detection of the first infections on March 13, 2020, a total of 546,435 and 539,961 recovered patients are reported, which according to official data represents a 99% overcoming of the disease.
Currently there are 650 active cases of covid-19 in the country according to figures released by the authorities, of which 30 are treated in the public network of hospitals; 40 in the Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), 33 in private clinics and 547 people who are in home isolation or “supervised community care”.
During the last 24 hours, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez did not report deaths from covid-19; which keeps the total number of deaths from this disease stable at 5,824.
