The Ministry of Health (Minsal) published this Monday morning the daily report on the situation of the pandemic in the country. The portfolio reported 7,806 new Covid-19 infections and 29 deaths associated with the disease in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, active cases reach 46,027.
Of the total new cases, 3,982 correspond to symptomatic people and 1,231 do not present symptoms. In addition, 2,593 Positive PCR tests were registered that were not notified.
The variation of new confirmed cases at the national level is -7% and 13% for the comparison of seven and 14 days, respectively. Meanwhile, four regions have decreased their cases in the last seven days and one has done so in the last two weeks.

Regarding the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, the results of 51,184 PCR tests and antigen tests were reported yesterday, reaching a total of 40,332,272 analyzed nationwide to date. The positivity for the last 24 hours at the country level is 14.60% and in the Metropolitan Region it is 16.13%.
To date, 172 people are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units, of which 105 are supported by mechanical ventilation. In relation to the Integrated Health Network, there are a total of 311 critical beds available for the patient who requires it, regardless of the region where they are located.
