The balance released this Saturday (4) by the Ministry of Health registers 8838 new diagnoses of covid-19 in 24 hours. The data raises to 22,138,247 the number of people infected by the disease since the beginning of the pandemic in the country. Yesterday (3), the statistics panel marked 22,129,409 accumulated cases.
Deaths from the new coronavirus throughout the pandemic total 615,570. Within 24 hours, health authorities reported 170 new deaths. Yesterday, the information panel marked 615,400 accumulated deaths.
The balance also showed 163,325 patients in follow-up and 21,359,352 recovered from the disease.
States
The states with the most deaths are: São Paulo (154,348), Rio de Janeiro (69,132), Minas Gerais (56,309), Paraná (40,807) and Rio Grande do Sul (36,198).
The units of the Federation with the fewest deaths are Acre (1,849), Amapá (2004), Roraima (2,056), Tocantins (3,922) and Sergipe (6,047).
