The balance released on Monday (1) by the Ministry of Health registers 3,838 new diagnoses of covid-19 in 24 hours. The data raises to 21,814,693 the number of people infected by the disease since the beginning of the pandemic in the country. Yesterday (30), the statistics panel marked 21,810,855 accumulated cases.
Deaths from the new coronavirus throughout the pandemic approach 608,000. Within 24 hours, health authorities notified 98 new deaths, totaling 607,922. Yesterday, the information panel marked 607,824 accumulated deaths.
The balance also showed 203,666 patients in follow-up and 21,003,105 recovered from the disease.
States
The states with the most deaths are: São Paulo (152,019), Rio de Janeiro (68,370), Minas Gerais (55,588), Paraná (40,517) and Rio Grande do Sul (35,500).
The units of the Federation with the fewest deaths are Acre (1,845), Amapá (1993), Roraima (2029), Tocantins (3,879) and Sergipe (6,031).
