The epidemiological bulletin released by the Ministry of Health tonight (27) shows that Brazil registered, in 24 hours, 229 new deaths as a result of covid-19. With that, the country reached 614,186 deaths during the pandemic.
The survey shows that 9,233 new cases of the disease were registered in the disease monitoring system. In total, the country has so far registered 22,076,863 cases of infection by the new coronavirus. The newsletter also brings data on deaths due to severe acute respiratory syndrome (SRAG), which total 119 cases and are under investigation by health agencies.
The country has 174,396 active covid-19 cases under monitoring. The number refers to diagnosed cases that are under medical supervision or in isolation.
The number of recovered is 21,288,281 cases, which corresponds to 96.4% of the total infected.
States
on top of ranking of deaths by state are: São Paulo (153,993), Rio de Janeiro (69,011), Minas Gerais (56,143), Paraná (40,771) and Rio Grande do Sul (36,075).
The states that registered the least covid-19 deaths were Acre (1846), Amapá (2,002) and Roraima (2,050).
Vaccination
The Ministry of Health’s vaccination panel was down at the time of data verification, and the latest update on the ministry’s website vacinometer registered, until November 25, 364,177,468 doses of vaccines distributed, with 306,982 .366 doses applied – number comprising the first dose, the second dose and single applications.
The ministry also registers that the federal government has already invested around R$ 207.3 billion in vaccines.
