Covid-19: Brazil records 29.3 million cases and 654 thousand deaths

Covid-19: Brazil has 4,164 cases and 164 deaths in 24 hours

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Brazil has registered 29,305,114 confirmed cases of covid-19, according to the epidemiological bulletin released today (11) by the Ministry of Health. The total number of deaths from the disease is 654,556

In 24 hours, 55,211 cases were recorded. In the same period, 470 deaths of victims of the virus were confirmed.

According to the same bulletin, 27,618,035 people have recovered from the disease and 1,032,523 cases are being monitored.Covid-19: Brazil records 29.3 million cases and 654 thousand deaths

States

São Paulo leads the number of cases, with 5.1 million, followed by Minas Gerais (3.26 million) and Paraná (2.37 million). The lowest number of cases is registered in Acre (123,300). Then appears Roraima (154.5 thousand) and Amapá (160.2 thousand).

Regarding deaths, São Paulo has the highest number of deaths (165,981), followed by Rio de Janeiro (72,116) and Minas Gerais (60,260). The lowest number of deaths is in Acre (1,987), Amapá (2,118) and Roraima (2,139).

Vaccination

To date, 383.6 million doses of vaccines against covid-19 have been applied, 170.6 million with the first dose and 146.9 million with the second dose. The single dose was given to 4.7 million people and 58.9 million received the booster dose.
