Since the beginning of the pandemic, Brazil has registered 30,247,302 cases of covid-19 and 661,907 deaths from the disease, according to the epidemiological bulletin released on Friday night (15) by the Ministry of Health. In 24 hours, 13,278 cases and 111 deaths were recorded.
According to the ministry, 29,199,903 people have recovered from covid-19, which represents 96.5% of those infected. There are still 385,482 cases under follow-up.
The bulletin did not record death data from the Federal District, Mato Grosso, Rio de Janeiro, Tocantins, Roraima and Mato Grosso do Sul.
States
The state of São Paulo is the unit of the Federation that records the highest number of cases (5,336,957) and deaths (167,846) from covid-19. Regarding the number of cases, the state of the Southeast region is followed by Minas Gerais (3,349,414) and Paraná (2,433,939). The states with the lowest number of infected are Acre (124,354), Roraima (155,366) and Amapá (160,369).
Regarding the number of deaths, São Paulo is followed by Rio de Janeiro (73,128) and Minas Gerais (61,108). The lowest number of deaths is in the states of Acre (1,996), Amapá (2,128) and Roraima (2,147).
Vaccination
According to the latest update from the Ministry of Health, 408,982,327 doses of vaccine were applied against covid. Of this total, 174,206,451 are first dose and 153,274,348 are second dose and 4,823,187 are single dose. 72,801,461 booster doses and 770,609 second doses were also administered.
Additional doses add up to 3,106,271.
