Covid-19: Bolivia reported 81 new positive cases on the second Monday of April

The Covid-19 does not give truce to Bolivians. This Monday, the Ministry of Health reported 81 new positive cases of Covid-19making a cumulative total of 903,477 infected, since the pandemic arrived in the country in March 2020. The positive fact is that no deaths from the disease were reported in the last 24 hours.

The new infections of this day are in Santa Cruz (38), Cochabamba (17), La Paz (17), Chuquisaca (5), Potosí (3) and Beni (1). Oruro, Tarija and Pando did not report confirmed cases.

The report, issued by the National Directorate of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health and Sports, also establishes that the national accumulated number of recovered patients up to this day amounts to 849,431. So far the lethality is 0.6%.

Regarding mass vaccination, the Ministry indicates that during this day 5,712 doses were applied throughout the country.
