The Ministry of Health reported this Sunday 15,136 new cases of Covid-19, 94 deaths and a national positivity of 15.25%.
Of today’s new cases, 9,279 correspond to symptomatic people, 2,265 do not present symptoms and 3,592 Positive PCR tests were registered that were not notified. The total number of people who have been diagnosed in the country reaches 3,301,747. Of this total, 73,037 patients are in the active stage, while the recovered cases are 3,176,653.
Regarding deaths, according to the information provided by the DEIS, in the last 24 hours there were 94 deaths from causes associated with COVID-19. The total number of deceased amounts to 43,879 in the country.
To date, 936 people are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units, of which 760 are supported by mechanical ventilation. In relation to the Integrated Health Network, there is a total of 245 critical beds available.
Regarding the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, the results of 91,231 PCR tests and antigen tests were reported yesterday, reaching a total of 34,097,635 analyzed nationwide to date. The positivity for the last 24 hours at the country level is 15.25% and in the Metropolitan Region it is 11.88%.
