COVID-19: 1,000 infections and 6 deaths are recorded in 24 hours

The incidence rate of accumulated cases is 4,401.9 per 100,000 inhabitants, while the distribution by sex, in confirmed deaths, shows a male predominance of 62%. The median age is 64 years.

The entities with the most infections are Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Puebla and Sonora. Together, they make up 65% of the accumulated cases in the country.

In addition, there are 687,537 suspected cases of COVID-19 in the country, 9,299,662 have tested negative, and it is estimated that there are 15,599,685 active cases.

Until April 13, 2022, 499 million 119,316 infections (1 million 46,031 new cases) and 6 million 185,242 deaths (2,785 new deaths) are reported worldwide. The global lethality is 1.2%.
