Court reserves for September 8 ruling on the Yúniol Ramírez case

Santo Domingo, DR. – The second collegiate court of the National District withdrew to deliberate the sentence to be issued for those accused in the murder of the professor Yuniol Ramirez.

The reading of the ruling will be announced next Thursday, September 8, starting at two in the afternoon.

The Public Ministry in the conclusions on this case requested sentences of 30, 20 and five years for the accused.

In the morning hours, judges Claribel Nivar Arias, Yissel Soto and Clara Sobeida Castillo heard the final conclusions of the defense of Argenis Contreras, accused by the Public ministry of being the material author of the kidnapping and murder of the lawyer and university professor Yuniol Ramírez.
