The suspect of killing a Palmeiras fan had his arrest in flagrante today (13) converted into preventive detention by the Justice of São Paulo.Court orders preventive detention of suspected of killing fan in SP

The suspect is being charged with first-degree murder after shooting a 40-year-old Palmeiras fan yesterday during a riot between fans and police around the Allianz Parque stadium, in São Paulo. The fan was rescued, but could not resist.

The confusion occurred after the defeat of Palmeiras by 2 to 1 to Chelsea, by the Club World Cup.
