The Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of the National District imposed on Sunday night coercion measures against six people linked to a network of Digital piracy dismantled by the Operation Domo.
The judge Fatima Veloz arranged the measures after declaring the process as complex. Contrary to what was requested by the Public Ministry – which requested 18 months in pretrial detention – the court ordered economic guarantees, periodic presentation and country’s departure impediment For the accused.
The guarantees imposed are:

According to the Public Ministry, the network operated offering illegal access to films, series and television programs protected by copyrightby unauthorized streaming platforms.
The accusations
The authorities ensure that these activities violate the Law 65-00 of Copyright, the Law 53-07 on crimes and crimes high -tech and Law 155-17 against money laundering and terrorism financing.
