The São Paulo government is going to select 150 companies in the state that want to learn how to export or increase the international sale of their products. Registration to participate in the Exporta SP course is open until February 10th. Rural producers, micro, small, medium-sized companies and startups can participate. The training will start in March and will be fully online.
According to InvestSP, the Economic Development Secretariat’s investment promotion agency, more than 700 have already been trained in previous editions. One out of five companies that participate in the course manages to sell abroad during the training. After completing the training, companies receive support from the agency for two years.
One of the stages of the training is mentoring, when businessmen are assisted individually to discuss an export plan and the needs of each business. There are four meetings during the training.
The training includes specialists in foreign trade from the Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA), who will address aspects such as “implementation of price formation actions, adequacy of products and services, commercial intelligence and marketing and sales”.
