Santo Domingo. – The Match Country Possible Along with thousands of people and dozens of institutions, they joined the walk against the violence summoned this Sunday.
under the slogan “Living in peace is possible”Y “No to violence”the president of the PPP, Milton Morrison, upon reaching the final goal, the bust of the patrician Matías Ramón Mella, in the Plaza de la Bandera, sent a strong message of solidarity to the families and relatives of all the victims of violence in the Dominican Republic, and asked for a minute of silence for them, including Minister Orlando Jorge Mera.
“To each and every one of those Dominicans whose life was taken from them by violence, who was taken from us by violence from our homeland. Violence is everyone’s responsibility, we cannot be silent in the face of it,” Morrison said.
He said that President Luis Abinader is leading the fight against violence and that three weeks ago, he called on the country to mobilize and say no to violence.
The day began at 9:00 AM, from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the rhythm of music allegorical to peace, white balloons as a symbol of peace itself and green as hope.

At the end of the activity, members of the Possible Country Party (PPP), collected waste from the entire route traveled to leave the street clean.
