In November, Brazil created 135,495 formal jobs, according to the Monthly Formal Employment Statistics of the General Register of Employed and Unemployed People (Novo Caged), released today (28), in Brasília.Country generates 135,000 new jobs in November, says Caged

The positive result for November stems from the total of 1.748 million admissions, compared to 1.612 million dismissals. In the year, the balance up to November is 2.466 million formal jobs created. The total stock of signed portfolios in the country reached 43.144 million.

The economic activity group that generated the most jobs in November was commerce: 105,969 new jobs. In services, 92,213 jobs were created. There was a decline, however, in the industry, which lost 25,707 jobs, due to negative pressure from the sugar and alcohol sector, according to the Ministry of Labor and Employment.

Fall

There was also a drop in construction, with 18,769 fewer jobs, and in agriculture, which saw a reduction of 18,211 formal workers.

The result was also positive in four of the five regions of the country. The Southeast opened the largest number of vacancies, with a positive balance of 84,164, followed by the Northeast (29,213), South (20,750) and North (3,055). There was a drop of 773 jobs in the Midwest.
