For Natalia Jimenez, Head Of Expansion Deel South America, the number of technology and remote companies hiring tripled, and “We see how these Latin American companies hire much more within the same region. Likewise, other factors are key to this growth: the quality of Latin American talent, proficiency in English, having the same time slot as the United States, all this, added to the fact that remote work was shown to be a viable model. and easy to implement for companies and individuals, made the region visible as an important source of talent. This is why, according to Deel’s Global International Hiring Report 2021, we see that the majority of new hires are in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, but competitive salaries are also causing companies to take a closer look at Peru, Colombia and Dominican Republic”.
