The regional councilor for Huancavelica, Fernando Clemente Arana, stated that he has been visiting educational institutions in the region Huancavelicain order to supervise the infrastructure with which they will start classes next Monday, March 14.
However, during these visits, the counselor found shortcomings in the educational institutions, as reported to Correo in an interview.
“We have found some deficiencies, as directors we have made the corresponding reports,” said the director.

He added: “We have visited the districts of Palca and Huando, where we found pre-school and primary educational institutions in precarious conditions, which is why we request (before the plenary session of the regional council) that the pre-school, primary and secondary specialists monitor it” .
Likewise, he said that, despite the return to the classrooms, connectivity is very much needed on the campuses, in addition to the biosecurity protocols against COVID-19.

In this sense, he also expressed his concern that the capacity will be one of the inconveniences to take into account during the return to the classrooms, since the infrastructure of many campuses will cause it to be breached and many students could be left without face-to-face attendance.
“There is also a concern to know if teachers and students have the vaccines,” detailed the regional authority.
Regarding the teachers who could resist getting vaccinated, Clemente Arana stated that the regional director must issue a directive highlighting compliance with the provisions of the Ministry of Education, which does require teachers to receive full vaccinations.

“There is a commitment from the regional director of education to monitor and enforce before classes start,” he added.
On the other hand, I affirm that the director of education informed the plenary session of the regional council of the existence of 300 million soles from the Ministry of Education that could be used to create files and build new educational centers in the region.
