Councilman Gabriel Monteiro (PL) was notified this Monday (25) about the process he will respond to at the Parliamentary Ethics and Decorum Council of the Rio de Janeiro City Council, which could lead to the revocation of the parliamentary warrant. The document was received and signed by the councilor at the headquarters of the House.
As of this Tuesday (26), the period of ten working days begins to be counted for Gabriel Monteiro to present a prior written defense and documentary evidence.

Also this month, the Federal Court in Rio, at the request of the Regional Council of Medicine of the State (Cremerj), determined that the former military policeman, youtuber and councilor carry out inspections in health units unarmed and accompanied by only one advisor, under penalty of a fine of R$ 50 thousand for each event. The decision is by the head judge of the 6th Federal Court of Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo Barbi Gonçalves, who partially attended to the provisional protection of Cremerj.
Last Monday (18), members of the Justice and Writing Committee of the City Council unanimously approved the addition of two more complaints against Monteiro. The Ethics Council now has four complaints to review.
The following day (19), the Ethics Council met to notify the parliamentarian about the representation made based on the complaints against him. The attorney general of the Chamber, José Luiz Minc, went to Gabriel Monteiro’s office on two occasions, but the councilman was not found to sign the summons, which only happened today.
