The Bolivian Football Federation (FBF) will turn 100 years old on September 12, 2025. On that occasion will receive a visit from FIFA President Gianni Infantino, as confirmed by the president of the FBF, Fernando Costa.
The head of national football recently returned from Colombia, where he was invited to the celebration of the centenary of the Colombian Football Federation (FCF) and there he coincided with the president of FIFA.
“We have agreed that we will count on your presence “in the celebration of the 100th anniversary. It will be a true celebration of Bolivian football, we will also pay tribute to all the men and women who have contributed to this great institution, so the presence of the FIFA president, who has confirmed to me that he will attend our invitation, will be very important,” said Fernando Costa to the media in La Paz.
He also referred to the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers and therefore to the upcoming match for the Bolivian team, which will be against Colombia, on October 10, at the Villa Ingenio stadium in El Alto.
He indicated that for that match, in one sector of the stadium, tickets will increase by Bs 20 and he expects massive support from the fans, Because he wants the Verde to play in a full stadium.
Precisely so that the team has more days of work in view of that match with Colombia and then against Argentina, on October 15, Costa affirmed that steps are being taken so that the 17th date of the Clausura tournament, which should be played between September 28 and October 1, be postponed until after the Qualifiers.
