The approval of the mayor of Montevideo, Carolina Cosse, fell 12 points in March 2022, when compared to November of the previous year. According to the latest measurement of Figure, 47% approve of departmental management, and 28% disapproveis stated in the report presented this Tuesday in Telemundo (channel 12).
In addition, 18% neither approve nor disapprove, and 7% have no opinion. In general terms, the intendant continues obtaining the approval of the majority of the residents of the department. However, at the beginning of 2021, when Cosse was just taking office, he collected 62% of positive judgments. Since then approval has gradually fallen, except for a “peak” in November.

The inquiry was made to 1,006 people throughout the country, through landlines and cell phones, between March 11 and 20, 2022.
