The President of the Republic Laurentino Cortizo received the afternoon of this Tuesday, November 22, recommendations from the Technical Board of Medicines directed by the Vice President of the Republic José Gabriel Carrizo, these were approved to be implemented from this moment.
The president stressed that he approved the Medicsol program to be expanded to 98 medicines, in addition to authorizing the joint purchases of the 12 approved medicines between the Social Security fund and the Ministry of Health.
He said that he also authorized the team to start the drafting process of the regulation to article 18 of Law 97 of October 4, 2019, on the National Guarantee Plan for the Supply of Medicines.
