Dorheim stressed that they are constantly carrying out self-purification processes in which this week they detected three units of the entity and one of the National Aeronaval Service within illicit operations.
The claws of organized crime and corruption are so long that so far in 2022 they have reached 50 units of the National Police, as announced by the director of the entity Jonh Dorheim, who reiterated that crime does not pay.
Dorheim stressed that they are constantly carrying out self-purification processes in which this week they detected three units of the entity and one of the National Aeronaval Service within illicit operations.
“They crossed the line and they will have to answer to the competent authorities and they will also have to answer in the administrative processes, but not only these three people; within our institution throughout this year there are already several internal disciplinary processes where various units have been requested to leave for having committed administrative offenses and crimes,” he said, stressing that they will not allow the units to cross the line or that the corruption spills over this entity.
He revealed that there are more than 50 policemen who have been discharged as a result of their faults. He reiterated that this is an internal purging job that seeks to remove the clutches of corruption from the entity.
For his part, Security Minister Juan Manuel Pino also reiterated that whoever crosses the line within the public force will not return, since there is no impunity for anyone.
He explained that through the Crime Stoppers platform, complaints can be made about police officers or members of the security forces who are involved in illegal activities.
Pino reiterated that crime does not pay.
