The provinces of Corrientes, Entre Ríos and Neuquén present sources of active forest fires, while the flames were contained in Buenos Aires, Chubut, Tierra del Fuego, Santa Fe, Corrientes, Entre Ríos and Neuquén, the National Forest Management Service reported this Saturday. In Entre Rios operated a helicopter to transfer personnel belonging to the Ministry of Defense, while 18 combatants from the NEA National Brigade provided support; and in Chubut and Neuquén helicopters with helibaldes, an observer plane and the Chinook aircraft did it, in addition to technical support with meteorological forecasting for planning in the three provinces.
They also operated a helicopter and observer planes sent by the Ministry of Environment to the Nahuel Huapi National Park, Lanín National Park and Ciervo de los Pantanos National Park.
While the flames were contained in the localities Ituzaingó and Colonia Pando in Corrientes; Victoria, Gualeguay and La Paz in Entre Ríos; Futalaufquen, El Hoyo and Futaleufú in Chubut; Tolhuin in Tierra del Fuego; I illuminated in Neuquén; Ciervo De Los Pantanos NP in Buenos Aires; and the capital of Santa Fe (Clusellas Islands).
