The results of the Correios competition will be announced this Friday (17). Just over 1 million candidates – 59.85% of the total registered – showed up to take the tests, administered on December 15th in all states and the Federal District.
With notices opened in October, Correios offered 3,511 vacancies, 3,099 of which were at secondary level, for the position of postman, and 412 at higher education, with 30% reservation for black people (black and brown) and indigenous people, a quantity higher than that established by legislation (20%), in addition to a 10% reserve for people with disabilities.
Higher-level specialties are: lawyer, systems analyst, architect, archivist, social worker and engineer. The starting salary is R$6,872.48, but, for engineers and architects, remunerations will be adjusted to meet the legal minimum for the categories, currently at R$10,302.
The starting salary for those approved for postman positions will be R$2,429.26. More information can be found at website from the Brazilian Institute of Training and Qualification (IBFC), organizer of the competition.
