Corpoelec National Initial Education Center reopened in El Marqués

The National Initial Education Center of the National Electricity Corporation (Corpoelec) was reopened by the authorities of the institution.

In this regard, the Vice Minister for Articulation and Social Participation in the Electricity Service, Nuris Perozo, stated “we are very happy that you can enjoy these completely remodeled facilities and that they have all the love of the teaching and administrative staff of the Civil Association of the Workers (Asoelec), which has been at the forefront of this rehabilitation”.

The Center is located at the El Marqués headquarters, Sucre municipality, Miranda state and will benefit 99 boys and girls from the electrical sector workers.

He added that the workforce of the Ministry of People’s Power for Electric Energy, offered its support in the remodeling of the educational institution, which has six classrooms, a kitchen, a school canteen, a music room, a pedagogy room, as well as a computing, among other benefits for students.

For his part, the president of Corpoelec, José Luis Betancourt, indicated that 64 workers between employees and teachers work in the educational center, who provide their attention to the student population of the campus, while highlighting the delivery of 232 uniforms, as well as also more than two thousand school supplies.

Meanwhile, the director of the aforementioned educational institution, Sara Landaeta, commented that ninety percent of the preschool enrollment is made up of sons and daughters of Corpoelec employees, while ten percent are part of the community surrounding the place.

He stressed that each student received a school kit consisting of shoes, three notebooks, a primer, glue, pencils, crayons and other study implements.

He pointed out that currently there is a study adaptation period in the educational center between 08:00 in the morning and 12:00 noon, to later normalize school hours between 08:00 in the morning and 3:30 in the afternoon.

Likewise, Isabel Pérez, who is the representative of one of the students of the aforementioned school, said that the boys and girls expressed their joy at the beauty and optimal conditions of the campus facilities.

With the inauguration of this Center, boys and girls of workers in the electricity sector will be served.
