RELEASE
The National Government, through the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec), denounces a new terrorist attack against two of the main 765 kV transmission lines, vital infrastructure for the flow of electricity in the country.
This extremist aggression seeks to deprive the Venezuelan people of the electricity service, as part of a fascist strategy aimed at destabilizing peace and the national union that will prevail before external threats.
As the President of the Republic has denounced, Nicolás Maduro Moros, these attacks constitute a manifestation of the electrical war, promoted by groups that operate at the service of dark interests and destabilizing agendas. Its objective is clear: to break the national harmony in a scenario in which the American empire threatens sovereignty with a war and psychological escalation.
In compliance with the provisions of the Organic Law of the Electrical System and Service, Corpoelec has immediately activated the protection and response mechanisms, guaranteeing both the progressive recovery of the service and the integrity of the electrical infrastructure.
Faced with these facts, the response of the workers of Corpoelec and the Venezuelan people will be firm and cohesive, demonstrating once again their determination to any threat.
Caracas, September 16, 2025.
