The National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) through a statement reported a “new criminal sabotage” which caused the fall of three transmission towers in the Juan Antonio Sotillo municipality, in the Anzoátegui state.
In this regard, the Corporation indicated that the personnel were deployed with the purpose of beginning the repair work, specifically in the infrastructure that extends on the Cerro
Vidoño of the Anzoatiguense town, to restore the electrical service of
progressively and safely to communities.

The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) informs the Venezuelan people
that, this Saturday, November 15, the National Electric System (SEN) was
victim of a new criminal sabotage that has caused the fall of three towers
transmission in the Juan Antonio Sotillo municipality of the Anzoátegui state, with the
intention to destabilize an essential public service for eastern people.
Faced with this aggression, our workers immediately deployed
in the affected area, following immediate response protocols
established by the National Government, led by President Nicolás Maduro.
With dedication and commitment, the technical staff has begun the work of
repair, specifically in the infrastructure that extends into the Cerro
Vidoño of the Anzoatiguense town, to restore the electrical service of
progressively and safely to communities.
This sabotage shows the harshness of an unconventional war that threatens
against the well-being of our people. However, Venezuelans continue
reaffirming, in a firm and unequivocal manner, his conviction of being free and
independent, moving forward on its own path.
We urge the Venezuelan people to maintain confidence, certain that the
dedication, commitment and patriotic awareness of our workers
will guarantee the continuity and efficiency of the service that Venezuelans
they deserve.
