The new cases of coronavirus closed on Wednesday at 204 for Cuba, according to the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), which on your part today does not record deaths from COVID-19.
Laboratories processed 7,515 samples in the last 24 hours. Of the positive ones, 199 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases; in three individuals the cause of the infection was not specified while in two the imported ones were closed.
Camagüey (37 cases in total) was the province that reported the most infections in one day. It is followed by Havana, with 28, and Ciego de Ávila, with 23.

On the contrary, the epidemiological situation remains more controlled in the east, from where the lower figures come: Las Tunas with nine and Holguín with seven. Granma and Santiago de Cuba with two infections each. Guantánamo only identified one.

The MINSAP part does not include deaths from COVID-19 on this day. The number of deaths caused by the pandemic on the Island, since March 2020, continues to be 8,525. The lethality is 0.77%.
