The National Emergency System (Sinae) reported 7,193 new cases of covid-19 this Friday after an analysis of 20,424 people.
Of the 7,193 new cases, 3,655 are from Montevideo, 1,306 from Canelones, 331 from Maldonado, 244 from Colonia, 211 from San José, 187 from Tacuarembó, 168 from Florida, 141 from Paysandú, 139 from Cerro Largo, 130 from Salto, 110 from Treinta y Tres, 97 from Rocha, 94 from Lavalleja, 80 from Soriano, 74 from Rivera, 68 from Durazno, 62 from Artigas, 48 from Flores and 48 from Río Negro.
This Friday, 16 deaths diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 were registered in our country. They were between 67 and 95 years old. So far, they are 6,854 deaths diagnosed with covid-19 in Uruguay.
Of the total confirmed positive cases, 17,501 correspond to health personnel. 16,898 of them have already recovered, 574 are suffering from the disease and 29 have died.
Today there are 42,678 people who are suffering from the disease157 of them are in critical care centers.
