Uruguay registered this Friday 704 new cases of coronavirus on a total of 7,602 tests, reported the National Emergency System (Sinae).
What’s more, there were two deaths in the last 24 hours of patients with covid-19, aged 80 and 87 years.
There are 6,143 active cases across the country and 39 people are in intensive care centers, according to the official report. Of the total number of positives who are experiencing the disease, 158 correspond to health personnel.
Of the 704 new cases, 336 are from Montevideo, 75 from Canelones, 44 from Colonia, 32 from Cerro Largo, 32 from Durazno, 32 from Maldonado, 26 from San José, 25 from Tacuarembo, 24 from Flores, 17 from Florida, 14 from from Lavalleja, 12 from Paysandú, 10 from Rocha, 7 from Rivera, 7 from Treinta y Tres, 4 from Salto, 4 from Soriano, 2 from Artigas and 1 from Río Negro.
All departments report infected people this Friday and Montevideo leads in number of active cases, with 3,171. follow him cannelloni (696), Cologne (418) and Maldonado (211).
