Uruguay registered this Wednesday 1,855 new cases of coronavirus on a total of 15,904 tests, reported the National Emergency System (Sinae).
What’s more, there were two deaths in the last 24 hours of patients with covid-19.
There are 9,705 active cases across the country and 43 people are in intensive care centersaccording to the official report.
Of the 1,855 new cases, 990 were from Montevideo, 227 from Canelones, 85 from Cerro Largo, 62 from San José, 61 from Colonia, 58 from Florida, 57 from Maldonado, 47 from Treinta y Tres, 44 from Rivera, 38 from Rocha. , 35 from Durazno, 35 from Lavalleja, 28 from Tacuarembó, 20 from Flores, 18 from Soriano, 16 from Paysandú, 15 from Salto, 10 from Artigas and nine from Río Negro.
