Uruguay registered this Thursday 1,534 new cases of coronavirus on a total of 13,851 tests, reported the National Emergency System (Sinae).
What’s more, three patients with covid-19 died in the last 24 hours, with ages of 77, 87 and 93 years.
There are 9,391 active cases across the country and 40 people are in intensive care centers, according to the official report. Of the total number of positives who are experiencing the disease, 207 correspond to health personnel.
Of the 1,534 new cases, 738 are from Montevideo, 167 from Canelones, 93 from Colonia, 70 from Maldonado, 58 from Cerro Largo, 57 from Lavalleja, 55 from San José, 44 from Rivera, 39 from Tacuarembo, 38 from Florida, 31 from Durazno, 28 from Salto, 21 from Paysandú, 21 from Soriano, 17 from Treinta y Tres, 15 from Flores, 15 from Río Negro, 14 from Rocha and 13 from Artigas.
All departments report infected people this Thursday and Montevideo leads in number of active cases, with 4,457. follow him cannelloni (1,035), Cologne (534),Saint Joseph (428) and Maldonado (398).
