Uruguay registered this Monday 1,508 new cases of coronavirus on a total of 7,242 tests, reported the National Emergency System (Sinae).
What’s more, there were five deaths in the last 24 hours of patients with covid-19, between 71 and 92 years old. There were two men from Montevideo, one from San José, a woman from Cerro Largo and another from Soriano.
With this Monday’s update 7,051 deaths diagnosed with coronavirus in Uruguay.
Sinae reported that of the 1,508 new cases, 702 are from Montevideo, 209 from Canelones, 93 from Colonia, 68 from Maldonado, 56 from Salto, 44 from Paysandú, 44 from San José, 37 from Florida, 35 from Artigas, 35 from Lavalleja, 34 from Rivera, 31 from Rocha, 26 from Tacuarembó, 24 from Treinta y Tres, 17 from Durazno, 17 from Río Negro, 16 from Soriano, 13 from Cerro Largo and seven from Flores.
At the moment there are 13,427 active cases of covid-19 and 104 patients are in critical care centers.
