Coronavirus in Uruguay: 13,625 new cases, 22 deaths and 131 patients in ICU

Uruguay registered this Friday 13,625 new cases of coronavirus on a total of 33,516 tests, reported the National Emergency System (Sinae).

What’s more, there were 22 deaths in the last 24 hours of patients with covid-19. Four patients were from Montevideo, four from Canelones, 3 from Rivera, one from Artigas, one from Colonia, one from Florida, one from Paysandú, one from Rocha, one from Salto, one from San José, one from Soriano and one from from Tacuarembo, between 29 and 95 years old.

Of the 13,625 new cases, 5,872 are from Montevideo, 1,990 from Canelones, 1,027 from Maldonado, 674 from Tacuarembó, 472 from Paysandú, 443 from Rivera, 342 from Salto, 323 from Soriano, 320 from Colonia, 317 from Florida, 298 from Cerro. Largo, 294 from Rocha, 282 from San José, 261 from Artigas, 183 from Lavalleja, 155 from Treinta y Tres, 145 from Río Negro, 140 from Durazno and 87 from Flores.

Sinae reported that currently there are 74,018 active cases, that is, people who are experiencing the disease, of which 131 are in critical care centers.
