The headquarters reported today 18 new cases of covid-19 in the department of Santa Cruz with 41 people recovered. With a total of 163,589 confirmed so far this year and 189,360 cases recovered in total in this management. Today 1,112 people were vaccinated.
There are three municipalities that concentrate the largest number of positive cases. Santa Cruz de la Sierra has the most patients, with 15 infections, followed by Puerto Quijarro with two, and San José with one.. No deaths were recorded.
Nevertheless, there are 12 patients in intensive care rooms fighting for their lives and 11 of them are attached to a respirator.
The Headquarters called on the population to attend the vaccination points to receive their booster doses to avoid complications in their health status, and also take care of the rest of the population.
