For the analysis of 1518 samples in laboratories attached to the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) of Cuba it was possible to identify two new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday the sixth of November.
No deaths related to the disease occurred, so the 8,530 deaths since the start of the pandemic remain, as well as the fatality rate of 0.77%, according to the most recent part of the health agency.

At the close of the information, 45 people remained hospitalized, of which 33 were suspected of having been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the number of confirmed active persons was set at 12.
As for the new patients, they are a man and a woman, both contacts of confirmed cases. Their ages are between 20 and 39 years old and they are residents of Matanzas and Camagüey provinces.
The Minsap also confirmed that two medical discharges were granted on the day and that none of the confirmed cases receive care in intensive care units for being reported in serious or critical condition.
