The Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) of Cuba reported that thanks to the analysis of 1,650 samples carried out until midnight on Friday, October 28, two new cases of Covid-19 in the country.
The most recent part The health agency indicates that there were no deaths related to the disease on the day, so the 8,530 deaths since the start of the pandemic remain, as well as the case fatality rate of 0.77%.

Currently, 43 people are admitted, of which 35 are suspected of having been infected with the SARS-Cov-2 virus, while eight are confirmed active.
Among the new cases there is one of each sex and both are under 20 years old. As for his source of infection, one is a contact of a confirmed case and the other recently returned to the country infected.
This time the affected provinces were Havana and Sancti Spíritus, and according to the MINSAP report, the two evacuated at the beginning of the pandemic and the 57 returned to their countries remain.
The disclosed information also indicates that no confirmed serious or critical patients are reported in the country’s Intensive Care units.
