Only three new infections of COVID-19identified thanks to the analysis of 1,692 samples, were reported in the country until midnight this Thursday, October 13, according to the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) from Cuba.
The most recent part The health agency points out that there were no deaths related to the disease on the day, so the 8,530 deaths since the start of the pandemic remain, which represents a fatality rate of 0.77%.

There were 40 people under income, of which 27 were suspected of having been infected with the new coronavirus, while those confirmed active were set at 13.
The new patients are female, two reported from the province of Holguín and one from Artemisa. All contacts of confirmed cases. As for their ages, two are under 20 years old and the other is between 20 and 39.
The Minsap also reported that the two evacuated at the beginning of the pandemic and the 57 returned to their countries remain. On the day only one person was discharged and it transpired that there are no confirmed patients in intensive care units.
