Until midnight on Wednesday, October 5, six new cases of COVID-19thanks to the analysis of 1768 samples in the conference, according to the latest figures from the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) of Cuba.
The most recent part The health agency points out that during the past 24 hours there were no deaths related to the disease, so the 8,530 reported since the start of the pandemic remain. The fatality rate is 0.77%.

75 people remained admitted, 48 of them suspected of having been infected with the new coronavirus. In turn, the number of confirmed active was set at 27. None of the patients received care in intensive care units.
Of the new cases, two are women and four are men, whose ages are distributed as follows: under 20 years old (2), from 20 to 39 years old (2), from 40 to 59 years old (1) and over 60. years (1).
Three of those diagnosed were contacts of confirmed cases, one had the source of contagion outside the country and in the other two the source of the disease could not be specified.
On the day, five provinces reported new cases, but only Pinar del Río reached the figure of two registered infections.
The Minsap also reported four medical discharges on Wednesday.
