Only one of the 1,517 samples analyzed this Thursday in Cuba to detect the presence of the SARS-Cov-2tested positive for coronavirusas reported by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
The most recent party of the health agency points out that there were no deaths related to COVID-19so the figure of 8,530 deaths since the start of the pandemic is maintained, as well as the fatality rate of 0.77%.
Currently 40 people are hospitalized, of which 29 are suspected of having been infected with the coronavirus, while the number of confirmed active is now 15, according to the MINSAP.

The only contagion detected this Thursday until midnight is male, was the contact of a confirmed case, is under 20 years of age and resides in the province of Sancti Spíritus
The Minsap adds in its information that the two have been evacuated since the start of the pandemic and the 57 returned to their respective countries.
In turn, it confirms that five medical discharges were granted on the day, and that no confirmed patient receives care in intensive care units on the Island.
