After the studies carried out this Monday on 817 samples, a new contagion of coronavirus in the country, according to Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) from Cuba.
The most recent part The health agency indicates that yesterday there were no deaths related to COVID-19, so the figure of 8,530 deaths since the start of the pandemic is maintained, as well as the case fatality rate of 0.77%.
It also transpired that 29 people remain admitted to hospital institutions, of which 21 are suspected of having been infected with the SARS-Cov-2 virus, while the number of confirmed active cases was set in 8.

The recent contagion detected is a man over 60 years of age, resident in the province of killingswho was a contact of a confirmed case.
In the MINSAP update on the evolution of the coronavirus on the Island, the two evacuees since the start of the pandemic and the 57 returned to their countries remain, while it is reported that four people received medical discharge on the day.
It is also highlighted that there are no reports of serious or critical patients confirmed with COVID-19 receiving care in intensive care units in the country.
