Cuba reported 20 infections due to SARS-CoV-2 on Saturday, according to the summary on the behavior of COVID-19 issued today the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
The epidemiological situation remains stable, to the point that seven territories, including the Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality, did not report new infections.
Havana (six) was the territory that reported the highest number of infections in a day in which 3,897 samples were processed.

Of the positive samples, 16 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases and in four the origin of the infection was located outside the country.
By age, the group made up of those under 20 years of age had seven patients; three correspond to the range of between 20 and 39 years, also three to the group of 40 to 59 years, while seven added those over 60.
According to the MINSAP, 19 clinical discharges were notified and the number of people admitted as a result of COVID-19 closed at 976; of these, 105 concern confirmed active cases. Only one person remained in intensive care.
The fatalities of the pandemic continue to add up to 8,529, a total since March 2020 when the first cases were identified.
