Cuba identified 51 infections of the SARS-CoV-2 virus this Monday, according to information which, on the epidemiological situation caused by the pandemic, is issued this day by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
1734 samples were processed for a 2.9% positivity.
Only Havana (16) exceeded a hundred patients this day in which Guantánamo, Granma and Villa Clara were free of new infections, according to the MINSAP.

Of the positive samples, 41 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases and in six individuals the cause of the infection was not specified. Four was the number of imported cases.
Clinical discharges totaled 56 while 573 people remained admitted, of which 321 were confirmed active cases.
By age, the group made up of those under 20 years of age stands out as the one with the highest numbers, adding 28 patients; nine corresponded to the range between 20 and 39 years, six to 40 to 59 years and eight were over 60.
The fatalities of COVID-19 continue to add up to 8,529 since no deaths were reported this day either. The lethality is 0.77%.
Bedridden in intensive care were two people, half of the admissions reported yesterday.
